Introducing the BiOrb Pearl Media, designed to create the perfect base for your BiOrb aquarium. Intended to replace the standard BiOrb Ceramic Media the Pearls create a realistic, natural looking environment for your aquarium inhabitants. The smooth ball design of the Pearls is especially suited to bottom feeding fish.
The BiOrb Pearl Media provides a perfect home for beneficial bacteria to live and thrive. This beneficial bacteria provides vital biological filtration, providing clear and healthy water for your aquarium inhabitants. The BiOrb Pearls are inert and will not alter the pH of the water making them suitable for both freshwater and saltwater installations in aquariums other than BiOrb.
The amount of Peral Media used depends on fish stocking levels and also the size and shape of the footprint of your aquarium. Check the Product Specifications for a guide.
